The small icon to the right of each item displays the crafting skill used and the numerical value represents the minimum level required in the skill in order to craft the item.
Items displayed in Red indicate that you do not meet one or more of the crafting requirements (Resources, Skill Level, etc.). Items displayed in White indicate that you meet all the requirements to craft the item. The Furnishing crafting process begins by interacting with a Workshop, a crafting station found in Settlements. Note that materials for any Crafting skill can be obtained from other players as well by trading, so players can still be successful in Furnishing even if they invest in other skills, but this requires playing the game's economy system. Collecting resources, however, is more involved and can prove more difficult.įurnishing is a skill that relies heavily on the following skills for resources and materials and as such, they are strongly recommended companion skills: Crafting furniture, storage chests and trophies requires the player to be of the appropriate Furnishing level as well. Leveling up in Furnishing is a straightforward process. Players simply need to continuously craft Furnishing items to raise their level in the skill. If your settlement's Workshop level does not meet the requirement, you will need to either raise it or find another settlement with a Workshop of a higher tier. This tier level corresponds to the Workshop's tier level. Note that each craftable item has a tier level requirement in order to craft. Workshops have a Tier level which can be increased by taking on Town Projects. Trade Skills belonging to the Crafting category focus on creating a large variety of items ranging from Weapons and Consumables to ammunition and furniture.įurnishing is the Crafting skill focused on creating Furniture and Storage Chests by using resources and materials obtained from skills in the Gathering and Refining lines.
